Austin is the state capital of Texas and thought to be the "live music capital of the world." Arts and Music flourish in this City, but are we also Eco-friendly? Are we,as the state of Texas, remembered for how nice our lakes, beaches and parks look? Does Austin have the smallest carbon footprint, the least factory farming or the cleanest waters? Well,I think that it is the same as any other state; it depends. Some places in Texas are beautiful while other places are dying. But there still endangered animals in Texas, pollution that needs to be cleaned up, carbon footprints needing to be erased, and factory farming needing to be reduced. So if we want to give back to mother nature, it starts with one person: ourselves.
